Part 4: The Altar Before the Assignment

This session brings the ministerial candidate back to the sacred foundation of service: before God trusts a person with assignment, He first forms them at the altar. This lesson confronts the difference between being gifted and being safe, between being used and being yielded, between having ministry activity and possessing ministerial character.

Through Scripture, candidates are called to examine prayer, obedience, submission, correction, consistency, humility, and love as the true evidences of formation. This course prepares the minister to understand that licensing is not a reward for ability, but an accountable recognition of a life being shaped for sacred service.
