The Council of myself: Prophetic Accountability
What happens when a prophet goes back and judges his own prophecy?
In this Bible study, we take a real prophetic word and place it under the authority of Scripture. Together, we examine what was biblically sound, what was prophetic application, what was interpretation, what was charismatic language, and where correction was necessary.
Using passages such as 1 Corinthians 14:29, 1 Thessalonians 5:20–21, and 1 Corinthians 13:9, this teaching explores how prophecy should be weighed, tested, and handled with humility.
This study is not about attacking the prophetic. It is about strengthening it.
You will learn how to distinguish between revelation, interpretation, application, embellishment, and error, while also seeing what prophetic maturity looks like when a prophet recognizes that something was missed.
If you are prophetic, learning the prophetic, skeptical because of past abuses, or simply want a more biblical understanding of how prophecy should function in the church, this teaching is for you.
Real prophetic maturity is not proving you never miss. It is loving truth enough to correct it when you do.
